Puppy & Training Cost
What's Included:
The cost of our dogs includes thousands of hours of training in the first 14 months and we stay connected with you for constant upgrades and refresher training sessions. Additionally, the cost includes veterinary care, flea & heart worm prevention, gear, transportation, food, toys, treats, etc while they are in our care.
Funding Options
The cost of our dogs are $14,000. Please do not let this be a deterrent. We do require a non-refundable deposit ($1,500) once you are assigned a puppy. We give you a year to pay the remaining balance. Project Chance has helped many families overcome the expenses by finding donors, grants or scholarships. We want to help our families receive the help they need.
School/Facility Dogs
Project Chance proudly has 7 dogs placed in schools that serve students with exceptional needs. If you work in a school and are interested in a service dog, we can help.

- Kids who were runners, stop running because they want to be near their dog.
- Kids who were unable to express their real needs, now experience the value of communication. Both child and puppy are taught directives. This builds a relationship that helps the child be “heard” and understood through speech, touch or facilitated communication.
- Kids who did not care about outcomes, either negative or positive, now understand the spectrum of behaviors and their associated rewards and consequences.
- Every child has the ability to be productive, responsible and empathetic. Our dogs and the team built around the child and dog, create the opportunity to have those experiences.
- Kids who did not want or give cuddles, hugs, or affection, now want and give back, if only to their dog. Their dog may be their first real friend.
- Kids who stood alone, never will again
